I recently made the decision to return to the world of consulting so time has been spread thin. I have actually become an entrepreneur by merging my Anvil Systems (Sole Proprietorship) with Useful Devices, Inc. (www.usefuldevices.com). Useful Devices is an electronic product development company that has offered electronic design, manufacturing and management for commercial and industrial companies. So what does that have to do with software development and consulting? Great question, if you have an MP3 player you probably have software on your computer to interact with that device. This is no different for custom built devices, hence the need for quality software applications to support devices. I expect this will offer new and exciting development challenges. Not all custom software development will be for devices of course. I will additionally consult on development needs of customers as well.
What does all this mean?
Well, I will be getting back to my blog to deliver more frequent and hopefully useful content. I am really excited about Visual Studio 2010 and may even tackle some other topics as well. So essentially, I just wanted to make sure you knew that I am still alive and plan to bring my blog back to life.
